It Came From The Desert (beta) Game

Ever played one of those old-school games where you're just some poor sap stuck in the middle of nowhere, suddenly dealing with giant mutant ants? Yeah, that's It Came From The Desert in a nutshell. The Sega Genesis version throws you into this weird desert town where everything’s normal—until it very much isn’t.
First thing you’ll notice? The ants. They’re huge, they’re everywhere, and they don’t care about your survival plans. You’re running around gathering supplies, talking to panicked townsfolk (who are zero help, by the way), and trying not to get chomped. The controls take a second to get used to—classic tank-style movement—but once it clicks, you’re either scrambling for cover or blasting antennae off with whatever weapon you scrounged up.
It’s got that janky-but-charming 16-bit vibe, complete with dramatic cutscenes that feel like a B-movie. If you’re into weird retro survival horror with a side of camp, this one’s a trip. Just don’t expect the ants to go easy on you.
