Instruments Of Chaos Starring Young Indiana Jones (beta) Game

Okay, so Instruments of Chaos Starring Young Indiana Jones is one of those early '90s Sega Genesis games that looked way cooler in the magazine ads than it actually was. You play as a tiny Indy—hat, whip, and all—jumping across platforms and dodging traps in these weirdly empty levels. The controls are kinda stiff, and the enemies just sort of... appear out of nowhere sometimes.
It’s got that classic "run left to right, whip some guys, repeat" vibe, but with this odd mix of platforming and awkward combat. The whip feels like it should be satisfying, but half the time you’re just swinging at air because the hit detection’s a little off. And don’t get me started on the pits—falling feels way too punishing for how janky the jumps can be.
Still, there’s something charming about it if you’re into retro games. The music’s decent, and seeing Indy as a kid is kinda funny. Just don’t expect Raiders of the Lost Ark-level quality here.
