Oh man, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade on Sega Genesis takes me back. It's one of those classic movie tie-ins that actually got the vibe right—you start off cracking your whip at Nazi goons in Venice, then suddenly you're solving weird sliding block puzzles in castle dungeons. The combat's a little janky (like most Genesis games from '93), but there's something satisfying about the way Indy's hat stays perfectly glued to his head no matter how many times he gets punched.
What's cool is how it mixes up gameplay—one minute you're platforming across collapsing ruins, the next you're in this awkward first-person brawler section where you gotta dodge and counterpunch. The grail temple at the end? Brutal. I still remember getting roasted by that invisible bridge trial after choosing poorly. Classic Indy nonsense.
You can tell they tried to cram the whole movie in here, warts and all. It's clunky in places, but the soundtrack nails that adventurous spirit. Just don't expect modern polish—this is pure old-school frustration and charm.
