So, The Incredible Hulk on Genesis—it’s exactly what you’d expect from a 90s Marvel beat ‘em up. You’re the Hulk, smashing through waves of goons, tanks, and weird sci-fi enemies who probably shouldn’t have picked a fight with you. The first level throws you right into it: punch a few guys, toss a car (because of course you can), and then suddenly there’s a helicopter boss. Classic.
Controls are simple—jump, punch, grab—but the real fun is in the little details. You can rip up chunks of the ground to throw, and some stages have these weird power-ups that temporarily turn you into… a different version of the Hulk? Not sure why, but it’s there. The music’s got that crunchy Genesis sound, and the sprite work makes Hulk look properly huge compared to everyone else.
It’s not the deepest game, but if you just want to wreck stuff as the big green guy for half an hour, it gets the job done.
