Remember that scene in Home Alone 2 where Kevin turns a hotel room into a death trap for Harry and Marv? This Sega Genesis game lets you do exactly that—just with way more pixelated slapstick. You’ll run around New York setting up paint cans, toy cars, and other ridiculous traps while those two idiots stumble into them like clockwork.
It’s not all about the burglars, though. Some levels have you sneaking through the Plaza Hotel or dodging pigeons in Central Park, which honestly feels harder than dealing with the Wet Bandits. The controls are a little stiff (this is a 16-bit movie tie-in, after all), but there’s something weirdly satisfying about watching Marv get hit in the face with a brick for the tenth time.
If you grew up with the movie, the chiptune version of "Somewhere in My Memory" will hit you right in the nostalgia. Just don’t expect it to hold up like a modern game—this is pure ’90s cheese, and that’s kind of the charm.
