Greendog on the Genesis is one of those weird, charming platformers that feels like it got lost in the '90s—in a good way. You play as this laid-back surfer dude who gets cursed after wiping out (classic), and now you're hopping between tropical islands, skateboarding past skeletons, and dodging giant crabs while trying to undo the hex. The surfing sections are janky but fun once you get the hang of them, and the whole thing oozes this goofy, sun-bleached vibe.

It’s not the tightest platformer out there—sometimes you’ll miss a jump because the hitboxes feel a little generous—but the art’s bright, the music’s catchy, and the levels are packed with little secrets.
