Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters on DS is basically what you’d expect from a superhero brawler—but with that sweet Lantern ring twist. You start off blasting energy constructs at waves of those creepy Manhunter bots, and yeah, it’s as satisfying as it sounds. The controls are simple (mostly just mashing buttons), but mixing up melee and ranged attacks keeps it from feeling too repetitive.

Visually, it’s decent for a DS game—bright colors, decent effects when you summon giant hammers or shields out of nowhere. The missions get tougher pretty quick, especially when you’re swarmed. Not gonna lie, some of the later levels had me retrying a few times.

If you’re into comic book games or just want a straightforward action fix, this one’s solid. Just don’t expect anything groundbreaking.
