Okay, so Great Circus Mystery With Mickey is one of those classic Disney platformers that somehow makes getting hit by clowns and falling off trapezes weirdly charming. You start off in this big top circus setting—bright colors, bouncy music, the whole deal—and Mickey’s just trying to rescue Minnie (because of course he is).
The controls are simple—jump, throw stuff, dodge—but some of those later levels? Brutal. Like, who knew balancing on a rolling barrel while dodging fireballs would be this stressful? The art style holds up surprisingly well, too—lots of little details, like the way Mickey’s ears flop when he runs or how the audience cheers when you pull off a tricky jump.
It’s got that old-school difficulty where you’ll probably die a few times figuring out the timing, but it never feels unfair. Just don’t expect to breeze through it in one sitting unless you’ve got serious platformer skills. Definitely a solid pick if you’re into retro Disney games with a bit of bite.
