Goofy's Hysterical History Tour is one of those weirdly charming Disney platformers from the Genesis era. You play as Goofy, who's just trying to do his job as a museum guard—until Pete shows up to wreck everything, because of course he does.

It's a straightforward sidescroller where you jump on enemies, collect artifacts (somehow Goofy's vacuum cleaner sucks up ancient vases?), and deal with Pete's ridiculous traps. The levels are themed around different historical periods, so one minute you're dodging dinosaurs, the next you're hopping past Roman columns. The controls are a little slippery, but that kind of fits Goofy's whole vibe.

Not gonna lie, it's not the deepest game, but there's something oddly satisfying about watching Goofy flail his way through history. If you grew up with Disney afternoon cartoons, this one hits the nostalgia just right.
