You control a new group of young Adepts, descendants of the original heroes, traveling across the world map and exploring locations screen by screen. Your main goal is to prevent a catastrophic event by finding the mystical Roc's Feather. You spend a lot of time in dungeons, solving environmental puzzles by using Psynergy, which are special elemental abilities. Outside of battle, these powers let you move pillars, grow vines, or freeze water to create new paths. The turn based combat is straightforward, but the Djinn system adds a strategic layer; you can collect these creatures and assign them to your party to change your class and unlock new skills. The pacing is generally steady, though some puzzles can slow you down as you figure out the right Psynergy to use. It feels like a thoughtful adventure where your mind is just as important as your sword.
