Ghostbusters on the Genesis is... well, it's definitely a game from that era. You control these weirdly stubby versions of the guys as they awkwardly jump and zap ghosts across six levels. The sprites are so chunky you'll wonder if they're actually ghosts or just walking marshmallows.
It's got that classic early 90s platformer jank—sometimes you'll swear you made a jump, but nope, you're falling into a pit again. The proton packs feel weirdly underpowered at first, but once you get the hang of the timing, blasting ghouls becomes kinda satisfying. Just don't expect the movie's charm to carry over.
Honestly, it's more of a nostalgia trip than a hidden gem, but there's something oddly endearing about its clunky ghostbusting antics.
