George Foreman's KO Boxing on the Sega Genesis is basically what happens when you take the arcadey fun of Punch-Out!! and slap a Foreman theme on it. It’s not as polished as Nintendo’s classic, but there’s something charming about the chunky pixelated George bobbing around the ring.
The gameplay’s straightforward—dodge, jab, hook, repeat—but the opponents get hilariously over-the-top as you climb the ranks. One minute you’re fighting some guy named "Truck," the next you’re up against a dude who looks like he bench-presses refrigerators. The controls can feel a little stiff, but landing that perfect uppercut still feels satisfying.
Honestly, it’s more of a nostalgia trip than a must-play, but if you’re into retro sports games, it’s a fun little time capsule from the era of Foreman grills and neon sweatbands.
