George Foreman's KO Boxing on the Sega Genesis is exactly what it sounds like—a no-nonsense, arcade-style boxing game riding the hype of Big George's comeback in the '90s. You pick from a roster of fictional (and kinda goofy-looking) boxers, then throw jabs and haymakers with that classic Genesis chunky-button feel. It’s got that Punch-Out!! vibe but with a bit more realism—dodges matter, stamina drains, and the ref actually yells stuff at you.
The controls take a second to click—holding buttons for power shots feels weird at first, but once you get the rhythm, knocking dudes out with an overhand right is stupidly satisfying. Also, the crowd boos if you play too defensive, which is a nice touch. Not the deepest boxing sim, but it’s fun for a few rounds if you’re into that era of sports games.
