About General Chaos Daikonsen
General Chaos Daikonsen came out in 1994 for the Sega Genesis, known as the Mega Drive in Japan. It was developed and published by Sega. This was a time when the 16-bit console was full of action games trying new things with the hardware, and this title was part of that experimental push.
You control a squad of soldiers, moving them screen by screen through enemy territory. Your main goal is to defeat the opposing army's units and capture their base. Key mechanics include directing your team's formation and using a variety of special weapons, like flamethrowers or grenades, which you pick up from downed foes. The game moves quickly, with frequent enemy encounters making it quite challenging. It feels frantic and tactical, forcing you to think on your feet as you issue commands.
