Remember that old Flintstones game on the Sega Genesis? The one where you play as Fred and Barney smashing through Bedrock with those goofy caveman moves? Yeah, this is that one. It's a side-scroller where you mostly punch dinosaurs, toss rocks at enemies, and occasionally ride a pterodactyl—because why not?
The first level throws you right into it: you're smashing boulders, dodging those weird little green guys, and collecting gems that look suspiciously like Fruit Loops. The controls are a little stiff by today's standards, but once you get the hang of Fred's weird hop-punch combo, it's oddly satisfying. And the music? Pure 16-bit nostalgia, complete with that classic "Yabba Dabba Doo" vibe.
It's not the deepest game out there, but if you grew up with it or just love retro platformers, it's a fun little time capsule. Just don't expect it to hold up like some of the Genesis greats.
