Okay, so this is technically Final Fantasy VI—the one we got as "FFIII" back in the '90s because Square was weird with numbering. But forget that, because this is the SNES classic with Kefka, the most unhinged villain in RPG history. The guy laughs while poisoning entire kingdoms. You start with Terra, a brainwashed soldier with magic powers, and things spiral from there—meeting thieves, kings, and a yeti who just wants to be left alone.
The hack (Tzepish V1.2) tweaks the original with some quality-of-life stuff—better translation, bug fixes, maybe a few surprises if you’ve played the vanilla version. Still the same insane opera scene, still the same moment halfway through where the game just… flips the table. If you’ve never played it, this is the version to try. If you have, well, guess you’re losing another weekend to Figaro Castle’s theme.
