F-22 Interceptor (beta) Game

F-22 Interceptor on the Genesis was one of those early flight sims that somehow made pixelated jet fighters feel legit. You start off picking your mission—either training or straight into combat—and then you're thrown into this surprisingly detailed cockpit view. The radar's a mess of blips, but once you get the hang of it, locking onto enemy planes feels weirdly satisfying.
It's not exactly realistic (you can barrel roll forever without consequences), but the dogfights are fast, and the ground targets actually require some precision. The beta version has a few quirks—sometimes the terrain textures glitch—but it’s cool to see how they refined it later. If you’re into retro flight games, this one’s a solid time capsule.
