Dragon's Fury on the Genesis is one of those games that looks simple at first—just a fantasy pinball table with some RPG elements—but man, does it get intense. You start off bouncing your ball between knights and wizards on this medieval-themed table, but then the dragon wakes up and suddenly you're dodging fireballs while trying to hit the right targets to unlock the next stage.
The physics feel surprisingly good for a 16-bit pinball game, with just enough weight to the ball that you can actually aim shots instead of praying. I remember getting stuck on the third table for ages because I kept missing the tiny gate that triggers the boss fight. And those digitized voice samples? Pure 90s cheese in the best way.
It's not the deepest game ever, but there's something satisfying about chaining combos while a pixelated dragon breathes fire at your flippers. If you ever played Devil's Crush back in the day, this is basically its medieval cousin with slightly jankier magic spells.
