Dr. Robotnic’s Creature Capture Game

Ever wanted to play as the bad guy in a Sonic game? Dr. Robotnic's Creature Capture lets you do exactly that—you're Robotnik, but instead of building machines, you're snatching up animals and turning them into your personal army. The first level drops you right into it: you've got this weird little net gun, and suddenly you're chasing down rabbits and birds while dodging Sonic's annoying little friends.
The controls take a second to get used to—aiming feels a little stiff at first, but once you figure out the timing, it's weirdly satisfying to corner a creature and zap it into your collection. Some of them are actually useful in fights, others... well, let's just say I wasted way too much time trying to make the penguin do something cool.
It's got that classic Genesis look—bright colors, chunky sprites—and the music nails that "I'm definitely the villain here" vibe. Not gonna lie, some of the later levels get brutal, especially when Sonic shows up and starts wrecking your carefully trapped monsters. If you're into weird spin-offs or just miss that 16-bit chaos, this one's a fun twist on the usual formula.
Just don't expect to feel bad when Sonic kicks your butt at the end—you had it coming.
