Double Dragon 3 on the Genesis is basically the arcade version but with that classic 16-bit roughness. You and a buddy can team up as Billy and Jimmy (or one of the other fighters if you unlock them) and punch your way through waves of thugs—same old story, but with these weird "Sacred Stones" gimmick that lets you buy power-ups mid-fight.
It’s got that stiff-but-satisfying Double Dragon combat, though some of the enemy grabs feel cheap after the first few levels. The two-player co-op’s still the best way to play, even if the AI loves to gang up on you. Not the best in the series, but if you’re craving some vintage brawler action, it’ll do the job.
