I first played Dinosaurs For Hire on the Sega Genesis back in 1993. It was published by Sega, and it fit right in with the kind of action games that were common on the system at the time. You don't see many games where you control a team of dinosaur mercenaries, so it definitely stood out on the shelf.

You take control of one of three dinosaur brothers, each with their own weapon, like a machine gun or a flamethrower. The main goal is to fight through levels, screen by screen, to rescue your kidnapped agent. You can switch between the dinosaurs on the fly, which is useful because they have different health and weapon ranges. The game is a run and gun shooter, so you are constantly moving forward and blasting waves of enemies. It gets pretty difficult quickly, with a lot of enemies and projectiles filling the screen. Playing it feels like a chaotic, fast-paced scramble where you are always just a few mistakes away from a game over.
