Desert Demolition is one of those weirdly fun Genesis games where you play as both the Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote—switching between them depending on the level. The Road Runner stages are pure speed, dodging cacti and outrunning trains, while Coyote’s levels have you setting traps and scrambling after that bird like a lunatic.

It’s chaotic in the best way. One minute you’re zipping through canyons with that classic meep meep sound, the next you’re slamming into a boulder because you misjudged a jump. The controls take a second to get used to—Coyote’s gadgets feel a little clunky at first, but once you figure out the timing, it’s satisfying to finally catch that smug bird.

Honestly, the desert backgrounds are surprisingly detailed for a 16-bit game, and the music nails that Looney Tunes energy. Just don’t expect deep strategy—it’s all about reflexes and laughing at the ridiculous physics when things go wrong. Perfect for a quick play session when you want something fast and silly.
