Demolition Man (beta) Game

Demolition Man on the Genesis is basically that cheesy '90s action movie turned into a side-scrolling beat 'em up. You play as John Spartan (Stallone's character) punching your way through waves of goons to take down Simon Phoenix. The controls feel a bit stiff at first, but once you get used to the timing, smashing dudes through glass panels never gets old.
What's funny is how faithfully it recreates the movie's ridiculousness—you'll fight in a cryo-prison, futuristic streets, even that weird "Taco Bell is fine dining" restaurant. The weapons are hilariously over-the-top too, like the freeze guns that turn enemies into ice statues you can shatter. Just don't expect deep combat—this is pure dumb fun with a synth soundtrack that screams 1993.
It's one of those games where you can tell the devs had way more movie references than development time, but that's kinda why it works.
