About Daze Before Christmas
I first played Daze Before Christmas on the Sega Genesis back in 1994. It was published by Sunsoft, a company that had a few interesting titles on the system. This game arrived during a period when platformers were everywhere, and holiday themed games were a fun, if sometimes odd, niche.
You control Santa Claus, and your goal is to deliver presents while fighting off enemies who have ruined Christmas. The game is a side scrolling platformer where you move screen by screen. You can throw snowballs to stun or defeat the various creatures, and you collect items like candy canes and milk to restore your health.
