Dangerous Seed is one of those shooters that makes you go "oh, this is weird" in the best way. You're piloting this ship that starts basic but slowly mutates as you collect power-ups—like your ride's growing extra limbs mid-battle. The enemies? Freaky bug-mech hybrids that swarm in from all angles, some with these unsettling segmented bodies that break apart when you shoot them.
First few minutes feel manageable, then the screen just fills with neon bullets and chitinous wreckage. Pro tip: grab the wing attachments early—they give you wider shots, which you'll desperately need when the bigger beetle-bosses show up. Music's got that classic Genesis growl too, all crunchy synths and urgency.
It's not the most polished shooter on the system, but the sheer spectacle of your ship evolving while everything tries to murder you makes it stick in your head.
