I picked up Daffy Duck in Hollywood for the Sega Genesis back in 1994. It was published by Sega, and it fit right in with the other cartoon licensed games of that era. You don't see many people talk about it now, but it was a solid release for its time.
You control Daffy Duck through side scrolling levels set in a movie studio. Your main goal is to find missing movie props while avoiding or defeating enemies. The gameplay involves a lot of running and jumping, with Daffy using a mallet to smash crates and attack foes. You also collect carrots, which act as both health and currency for extra lives. The levels are large and require some exploration to find everything, and the difficulty can be surprisingly tough in spots. It feels like a frantic dash through a chaotic cartoon set.
