About Cyborg Justice
Cyborg Justice came out for the Sega Genesis in 1993, developed by Novotrade. It was one of those games that stood out on the platform, not for being a major franchise, but for trying something genuinely different with its side scrolling brawler format.
You control a heavily armed cyborg on a mission to reclaim your factory from a rogue AI. The main objective is to fight through waves of enemy robots across interconnected, screen by screen industrial levels. The signature mechanics are the ability to tear off enemy limbs and then attach them to your own body, and a two player cooperative mode. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty is punishing; you need to constantly adapt your build based on the parts you scavenge from defeated foes. It feels like a desperate, clanking struggle for survival where every victory is earned through dismantling your opponents piece by piece.
