CyberBall on the Genesis is basically football if you replaced all the players with clunky robots that look like they were welded together in someone's garage. The first time I booted it up, I thought it'd just be a gimmick—but man, those blocky little guys move faster than you'd expect.

You start off picking between four teams (I always go for the red ones—no real reason, they just look meaner), and then it's straight into this neon-lit arena where the ball looks like it's made of pure electricity. Passing feels weirdly satisfying once you get the timing down, especially when you thread it between two defenders who just sort of freeze for a second like their circuits overloaded.

It's got that classic arcade vibe where everything's a little janky but in a way that makes you want to play one more match. And yeah, the graphics are definitely "of their time," but there's something charming about watching these robots do a jerky victory dance after scoring. If you dig weird retro sports games, this one's a trip.
