Clue on the Sega Genesis is basically the board game, but with a little more atmosphere—you’re wandering through this creepy mansion, checking rooms for clues while the suspects pace around looking suspicious. The music’s got that low-key ominous vibe, like something bad definitely happened here.
At first, it’s a bit slow—you roll dice to move, just like the physical version—but once you start piecing together who had the wrench in the conservatory or why Mrs. Peacock was near the study, it gets weirdly tense. The game doesn’t hold your hand, so you’ll be scribbling notes like an actual detective. (Or, if you’re like me, wildly guessing and hoping for the best.)
It’s not flashy, but there’s something satisfying about finally cornering Colonel Mustard with the right accusation. Just don’t expect him to confess dramatically—this *is* still a 16-bit adaptation.
