Play Classic Series : Dr. Mario Online

I first played Classic NES Series: Dr. Mario on the Game Boy Advance. It was part of a series of NES re-releases Nintendo put out for the handheld, giving a new generation a chance to play these older games on the go. The cartridge was a small, simple thing, but it held the complete original puzzle game, unchanged from its 1990 debut.

You control the falling vitamins, rotating them to match colors with the viruses populating the bottle. The main objective is to clear all the viruses from the screen by lining up four or more capsules and viruses of the same color in a row, either vertically or horizontally. The core mechanics are rotation and speed; you must constantly spin the capsules to find the right orientation before they land, while the game's pace gradually increases, demanding quicker decisions. Later levels introduce more complex virus patterns and faster falling speeds, creating a genuine test of spatial reasoning. It feels like a constant, engaging battle against the clock and the growing pile of capsules at the bottom of the bottle.
