About Classic Collection
Classic Collection was a compilation released for the Sega Genesis, also known as the Mega Drive. It came out in 1994, published by Sega themselves, during a time when these multi-game cartridges were a popular way to revisit older titles. This particular collection gathered several of Sega's earlier arcade hits into one package for home play.
You control different characters depending on the game selected, from a spaceship in shooters to a hero in fantasy adventures. The main objective is simply to progress through each individual game, beating stages and achieving high scores. Signature mechanics vary by title but often involve screen-by-screen exploration, dodging enemy patterns, and collecting power-ups.
