Chiki Chiki Boys is one of those weirdly charming Sega Genesis games that somehow makes chopping up monsters with tiny swords feel adorable. You play as these little elf brothers (or solo if you're feeling brave) jumping through bright, candy-colored levels full of bouncing mushrooms, goofy dragons, and other creatures that look like they escaped from a Saturday morning cartoon.

The controls are simple—slash, jump, collect power-ups—but some of those later stages get surprisingly brutal. I remember hitting this one ice level where the platforms kept crumbling, and let’s just say my patience was tested.
