Chi Chi’s Pro Challenge Golf Game

Chi Chi’s Pro Challenge Golf is one of those old-school golf games that somehow nails the balance between arcade fun and just enough realism to make you feel like you’re actually lining up shots. The greens are punishing if you don’t account for slope, and the wind actually matters—none of that "hit it straight every time" nonsense. I remember whiffing a putt on the first hole because I didn’t realize how much the ball would break.
It’s got that classic early '90s Sega vibe—bright colors, simple controls, and a weirdly satisfying "thwack" sound when you nail a drive. You can play stroke play or go head-to-head in match mode, and the AI isn’t a pushover. Not the deepest golf sim out there, but it’s got charm. Still holds up if you’re into retro sports games.
