Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia is one of those DS gems that doesn’t get enough love. You play as Shanoa, this badass glyph-wielding warrior who’s basically a walking magical arsenal—absorbing powers from defeated enemies and slinging them right back. The combat’s got weight to it, and those boss fights? Brutal in the best way.
It’s got that classic Castlevania vibe—gothic castles, creepy monsters, the works—but with a twist. Instead of whipping vampires, you’re juggling spells and timing dodges like your life depends on it (because it usually does). The difficulty’s no joke, but when you finally take down that one boss who’s been wrecking you for an hour? Pure satisfaction.
Oh, and the music? Absolute bangers. If you’re into action-platformers with a dark fantasy edge, this one’s a must-play.
