Call of Duty: Black Ops on the DS? Yeah, it exists—and honestly, it’s kind of impressive what they squeezed onto that little cartridge. You’re still running through tight corridors, popping off shots with the touchscreen controls (which take some getting used to), and yeah, it even has that signature Black Ops vibe with the Cold War-era missions.
Don’t expect console-level graphics, obviously, but the framerate holds up, and the AI actually puts up a decent fight. The campaign’s condensed but still has those chaotic firefights where you’re scrambling for cover. Multiplayer’s stripped down, but local play is weirdly fun if you’ve got a buddy with a copy.
It’s not the definitive Black Ops experience, but for a handheld version, it’s way more playable than it has any right to be.
