Bloodshot Game

Man, Bloodshot on the Genesis is one of those games that looks simple at first—just another run-and-gun—but then it kicks your teeth in. You start off blasting through waves of enemies with this satisfyingly chunky weapon, but by stage two, you're already sweating bullets trying to dodge attacks while the screen fills up with chaos. The pixel art holds up surprisingly well, especially the boss designs—some of them take up half the screen, and you just know you're in for a bad time.
It's got that classic '90s difficulty curve where you either memorize enemy patterns or die a lot (spoiler: you'll die a lot). But there's something weirdly addictive about it—the controls are tight, the music slaps, and every time you finally beat a level, it feels like you actually accomplished something. If you're into punishing retro shooters, this one's a solid pick.
