Play Ben 10 Online

I picked up Ben 10 for the Sega Genesis a while back, a 2017 release from Outright Games. It's interesting to see a new title made for such an old console, and it immediately stands out with its modern cartoon visuals squeezed into the 16-bit format. The game feels like a deliberate throwback, not trying to reinvent the wheel but just offering a straightforward action platformer for the system.

You control Ben Tennyson, running and jumping through side-scrolling levels to stop various alien threats. The main goal is to fight through each stage, defeat the bosses, and ultimately save the day. The key mechanic is using the Omnitrix; you can transform into different aliens like Heatblast and Four Arms, each with a unique attack, like fireballs or powerful punches. You explore areas screen by screen, battling enemies and breaking objects to collect health and other pickups. The pacing is fairly quick, and the difficulty can spike during some of the boss encounters. It feels like a solid, simple game where you just jump in and have some fun.
