Alright, so the Ben 10 Triple Pack on DS is basically three games in one cart—Alien Force, Protector of Earth, and Vilgax Attacks. You get to mess around with all of Ben’s alien forms, swapping between Heatblast, Four Arms, and the rest mid-fight, which is pretty satisfying when you pull off a combo. The levels are a mix of brawling and light puzzle-solving, nothing too deep, but it nails that Saturday morning cartoon vibe.
Some of the transformations feel way stronger than others (looking at you, Diamondhead), but switching on the fly keeps things from getting stale. The graphics are decent for a DS game, though don’t expect anything mind-blowing—just solid, chunky sprites and some fun boss fights. If you grew up with the show or just want a straightforward action game, this’ll hit the spot.
It’s not gonna redefine the genre, but for a handheld Ben 10 fix, you could do a lot worse.
