If you grew up watching Ben 10, this DS triple pack is basically nostalgia in cartridge form. You get three games where you play as Ben, smashing through enemies and puzzles with his alien forms—Heatblast’s fireballs are stupidly satisfying to spam, and XLR8’s speed makes platforming sections way less annoying. The first game throws you right into fighting Vilgax’s minions, and by the third one, you’re juggling transformations like a pro.
It’s not exactly deep—some of the levels feel repetitive, and the touchscreen gimmicks are hit or miss—but if you just want to wreck stuff as Four Arms or Wildmutt between bus rides, it does the job. The pixelated alien designs actually hold up pretty well on the DS screen.
Honestly, it’s the kind of game you’d rent as a kid and then beg your parents to buy after one weekend.
