About Beavis And Butt-head
Beavis and Butt-Head for the Sega Genesis came out in 1994, published by GT Interactive. It was one of those many licensed games from that era, trying to capture the spirit of the MTV cartoon on a 16-bit console. You knew what you were getting into just by looking at the box art.
You control both Beavis and Butt-head, switching between them to solve simple puzzles. The main goal is to find tickets for a GWAR concert, which sends you through their neighborhood, the school, and the local mall. You walk from screen to screen, talking to characters and picking up items to use in the environment. A lot of the game involves finding the right object for a person or a situation, like getting a fake ID or causing a distraction. The pacing is slow, and some of the objectives are not very clear, which can make you wander around a lot. Playing it feels like you are stuck inside one of their half-brained schemes, with all the frustration and occasional dumb humor that implies.
