Beauty & The Beast Roar Of Beast Game

Okay, so Beauty & The Beast: Roar of Beast on the Genesis is one of those licensed games that actually tries to do something interesting. You play as Belle, but instead of just running and jumping, there’s this weird mix of platforming and light puzzle-solving—like figuring out how to outsmart Gaston’s goons or navigating the Beast’s castle without getting lost in the hedge maze.
The sprites are surprisingly detailed for a Genesis game, especially Belle’s animations. And yeah, the Beast shows up to help sometimes, which is cool until you realize he mostly just smashes stuff while you do the actual work. The music’s got that classic Disney vibe, though some tracks loop a little too aggressively.
It’s not perfect—some hitboxes feel off, and the later levels get frustratingly vague about where you’re supposed to go—but if you’re into ’90s Disney nostalgia, it’s a fun little time capsule. Just don’t expect it to hold up like Aladdin or Lion King.
