About Batman (europe)
I remember picking up Batman for the Sega Genesis back in 1992. It was developed by Sunsoft, and it felt like a solid part of that early 90s wave of comic book games. You controlled Batman, moving through a series of side scrolling levels set in Gotham City. The main goal was straightforward: stop the Joker from carrying out his latest scheme.
You punch and kick your way through thugs, and you have a limited supply of batarangs to throw at distant enemies. The levels are linear, pushing you from left to right, but some require careful platforming to avoid pitfalls. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty can be unforgiving, especially during the boss fights. Playing it feels like a direct, sometimes punishing, test of your reflexes.
