About Bahamut Senki (japan)
Bahamut Senki came out for the Sega Genesis in 1991, developed and published by Sega. It was a Japan only release, a turn based strategy game that fit right in with the kind of complex, menu driven experiences the system was known for at the time.
You command a squad of characters on grid based maps, moving them one by one to attack enemy units with swords, bows, and magic. The main goal is to clear each stage of all hostile forces or achieve a specific mission objective, like protecting a certain unit. Key mechanics include positioning your units to gain tactical advantages and managing their limited action points for movement and attacks. The game has a deliberate pace and can be quite difficult, demanding careful planning for each turn. Playing it feels like solving a demanding, interactive puzzle on a battlefield.
