Man, Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP 2 still holds up as one of the best racing games on the Genesis. The second you start, you're thrown right into Monaco's tight turns—no hand-holding, just pure '90s arcade-style racing. The sense of speed is wild, especially when you barely squeeze past an opponent on those narrow streets.
What I love is how it balances realism with that classic Sega arcade feel. The cars handle like they've got actual weight to them, but you can still powerslide like a maniac if you're brave enough. And yeah, the AI doesn't mess around—get too comfortable, and they'll shove you into the guardrails.
It's got that "one more race" hook, especially when you're chasing down first place in the final lap. Just don't blame me when you realize you've been white-knuckling the controller for an hour straight.
