Man, Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP II was the closest thing to F1 racing we had on the Genesis back in the day. The tracks feel tight and punishing—just like real Monaco—and that little blue car handles like it’s on rails if you get the braking right. First time I played, I smashed into every barrier on the opening lap, but once you learn the rhythm, threading through those narrow streets is pure satisfaction.
Weirdly, the AI drivers actually race like they’ve got a brain, not just following a script. They’ll block passes, make mistakes under pressure, and sometimes just yeet themselves into a wall if you nudge them at the right moment. Still holds up if you’re into that old-school simcade vibe.
