Assassin’s Creed II: Discovery on DS is basically the sneaky little brother of the console games—smaller, but still packing that classic AC vibe. You play as Ezio again, running across rooftops in Renaissance Italy, stabbing guards when they’re not looking (or just straight-up brawling if stealth fails). The controls take a second to get used to—expect some awkward jumps at first—but once it clicks, it’s satisfying to chain kills and vanish into crowds.
What’s cool is how they adapted the climbing and assassinations for the DS. It’s not as flashy as the big-screen version, but the missions are bite-sized, perfect for quick sessions. Some of the later levels get surprisingly tough, especially when you’re dodging archers while scaling a church. And yeah, the story’s there, but let’s be real—you’re mostly here to parkour and shank people.
If you’ve got a DS and miss Ezio’s antics, this one’s a solid way to kill time (literally).
