If you grew up watching Animaniacs, this Sega Genesis game is pure nostalgia—but even if you didn’t, it’s still a chaotic, ridiculous good time. You bounce between Yakko, Wakko, and Dot, each with their own weird little abilities (Wakko’s mallet is weirdly satisfying to swing). The levels are packed with dumb jokes and references to the show, like that one where you’re dodging Ralph the Guard in a hallway.
It’s not just platforming, either—there are these random minigames that pop up, like a memory match with Pinky and the Brain or a rhythm segment where you’re conducting an orchestra (badly). The music’s catchy as hell, and the sprite work actually holds up for a 16-bit game. Just don’t expect anything deep—it’s all about the nonsense. I still hum the theme song after playing.
