Remember Aero the Acro-Bat? That weirdly charming Sega Genesis platformer where you play as a circus bat with a grudge? You're basically this acrobatic red bat flipping through levels, bouncing off trampolines, and throwing ninja stars at clowns (because of course there are evil clowns).
The whole thing feels like someone took a Saturday morning cartoon and turned it into a game—bright colors, weird enemies, and this villain Edgar Ektor who looks like he raided a mad scientist's closet. The controls take a second to get used to—Aero's floaty, but once you figure out his dive attack, you'll be ricocheting off walls like a pinball.
It's not the deepest platformer out there, but there's something oddly satisfying about the way the circus theme ties everything together. You'll fight on tightropes, swing from trapezes, and yeah, occasionally wonder why a bat needs to do backflips. Classic '90s weirdness.
