Alright, so Aero the Acro-Bat 2 picks up right where the first one left off—turns out Ektor didn’t stay down for long, and now he’s back causing trouble. You’re still playing as Aero, the acrobatic bat with a serious grudge, flipping and gliding through levels that feel even more chaotic than before.
The controls are tight, and the platforming’s got that classic Genesis challenge—some jumps will make you sweat, especially when enemies pop up mid-air. I remember the circus-themed stages being a highlight, with swinging trapezes and tightropes that actually make you think before you leap. And yeah, the soundtrack? Still weirdly catchy.
It’s not perfect—some of the later levels get brutal—but if you liked the first game, this one cranks everything up a notch. Just don’t throw your controller when Ektor pulls another cheap move.
