Okay, so The Addams Family on Genesis is one of those weird licensed platformers that somehow nails the creepy-but-fun vibe of the movies. You play as Gomez, bouncing around like a maniac (seriously, his jump animation is hilarious), trying to rescue the family from their sleazy lawyer.

The levels are packed with little details—spooky portraits that follow you, secret passages behind bookcases, even that weird hand thing crawling around. Controls take a second to get used to—Gomez slides a bit when he stops, and the double jump feels oddly floaty at first.
